The festival starts in Nikel in January 23-24 with art workshops, concerts and Transborder Cafe.

Through a number of years Pikene på Broen have built up a big network of the Russian artists, but we have never managed to establish long-term contacts with the Russian town closest to us – with Nikel. Together with Sør-Varanger Municipality we strive for better and closer cooperation with Petchenga Rajon.
